In the interests of patient and staff safety, all measures introduced at the surgery due to the COVID-19 pandemic will remain in place after 19th July 2021.

As an NHS organisation who has contact with a lot of clinically vulnerable people, we will continuing to follow the COVID-19 safety measures after 19th July 2021. This includes:

  • Wearing of face coverings when in the surgery.
  • Social distancing.
  • Making use of the wall mounted hand sanitiser dispensers when entering and leaving the building or wash your hands were possible.
  • Phone calls with the doctor before booking for a face to face appointment.
  • Front doors will remain locked, so please ring the bell to be checked in by a receptionist, this manages the flow of patients through the surgery.

Any changes made to the safety guidelines we are following will be updated here on our website and for the latest advice set by the government please click here.

We value your patience and cooperation during this difficult and very busy time and thank you for helping keep the surgery a safe environment.

Pages created to help keep you as informed and supported as possible during this difficult time, if you are unable to find the help you are looking for on these pages then please contact us on 01214512525

River Brook Medical Centre has been selected as a hub to administer the COVID-19 vaccination.

If you are eligible you will be contacted to book an appointment. You will be booked in for your second vaccination during your first appointment, if there are any changes to this, such as a guideline change then your own surgery will contact you to rearrange your appointment

Due to the high volume of patients being vaccinated at the surgery, our phone lines are extremely busy , so we ask for your patience and understanding as we try to deal with everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible.

During the COVID vaccination clinics, a large volume of patients from multiple different surgeries will be attending, to reduce traffic and keep you and our staff as safe as possible we are requesting that NO patients attend the surgery, unless pre-arranged by a clinician.

We thank you all for your patience and understanding during these difficult times!
